Announcements:

Please welcome Kim Marsh, who is leading us in worship today.  Kim will be filling in as our music worship leader during the next few weeks.

Senior high youth are having a bowling/pizza party today.  We will meet at the church at 3:45 p.m. and go bowling at Valley Park Lanes, followed by pizza at Pastor Ron's house.  Cost is $3 per person, which covers two games of bowling and pizza.  Bring a friend!

It is time to order Easter flowers to decorate the sanctuary on Easter Sunday. If you would like to order a lily or azalea in honor of or in memory of a loved one, please fill out an order form. Order deadline is Monday, March 22.

Village Creek Bible Camp registration forms are currently available in the narthex.  There are several dates to choose from.  The church will cover about half of each camper's fees, so each camper will be able to attend for $135.  If you think you may need assistance covering your portion of the fees, please let Pastor Ron know.  There are camp scholarships available if needed.  Please register soon, as the deadline for the early registration discount is March 11.

The Adult & Family Board will hold a garage sale this year during Hudson city-wide sales May 7-8.  You may begin to bring your clean, sellable items to the church, and leave them in the drop-off boxes located near each entrance of the Education Building. Please do not price them, as that will be done here as the sale gets set up.  Sheila Wetherell is coordinating the sale this year.  Please contact Sheila if you have any questions or would like to help out.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 4 p.m. upstairs.  We will stay as long as you would like, just come and go as it works for you.  If you cannot join us at that time but would like to make a shawl, please feel free to do so.  Anyone age 10 & up can participate.  If you know how to knit or crochet, or would like to learn, come join us. Supplies will be provided. For more information, contact Nancy Colwell, Pam Wessel or Linda Braden.

The Altar Committee needs another committee member.  The position does not entail a lot of time or responsibilities.  For details, contact Pam Wessel.

Scholarship applications are now available in the narthex. Anyone planning to attend an institution of higher learning during the 2010-2011 school year may apply. Applications must be returned by noon, Friday, March 26.

We need a volunteer for one last week to keep our entryways and steps cleared of snow. Check the tear-off tab or sign up on the sheet in the narthex.

Orchard Hill Church is hosting its annual Lenten Lunch series Wednesdays during Lent, with the next event this Wednesday, March 10.  Each luncheon begins with a meal including two soups, fresh bread and desserts served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., followed by music and a speaker from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.  This week's speaker is Dave Van Netten of Grace Reformed.  A $2 donation is suggested. Orchard Hill Church is located at 3900 Orchard Hill Drive, Cedar Falls.
