Announcements:

There are VBS registration forms available in the narthex.  Please register as soon as possible. VBS is August 9-13 from 9 until 11:30 a.m.  Please note the time change from earlier announcements.  We are looking for an adult to lead games and an adult to help with bible story time.  Also we still need teen volunteers.  If you can volunteer, please check the tear-off tab.  The next VBS workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, July 27, at 9:30 a.m.

We are looking for volunteers to provide cookies and/or juice each day during Vacation Bible School.  If you can help provide cookies and/or juice, please check the tear-off tab and let us know what day you can supply them and how many.  Thanks for your help!

Please note the deacons will meet on Monday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m.  This is a change in their usual schedule.

Sunday School is coming up soon, with Rally Day on September 12.  We currently need a couple of new teachers for this year.  If you would be interested in teaching the Senior High class or the kindergarten class please check the tear-off tab or call the office.

Project PENCILS is getting into full swing.  Fliers and registration forms have been made available throughout the community.  Rather than asking for school supplies, we are asking our congregation to help with monetary donations.  We discovered last year this would be more helpful to the Project PENCILS committee as they shop for and organize supplies. Additionally, contributors can more easily record donations for tax purposes. If you can help with this project, please send donations to the church office or add to the offering plate, with funds earmarked for Project PENCILS. Thank you!

On the first of every month, anyone who wishes to may sing up front with the praise team.  All you need to do is come to rehearsal the Wednesday before.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry has attached tags to all the shawls stating who made them. If you would like to give a shawl to someone, please take one.  There is a tag to take with the shawl. A card is attached for you to fill out and leave here with your name and the name of the recipient, if you wish us to know. We would love pictures of the shawl with the recipient. We are keeping a record of who made them and who receives them, so we can continue to pray for them.  For details, contact Nancy Colwell, Pam Wessel or Linda Braden.

Please note that when you write checks for your pledge to the Building Fund, write "Building Fund" on the memo line, to help us keep these funds separate from the General Fund.  There are Building Fund pledge sheets available in the narthex for anyone who may still need one.

The bulletin insert this morning lists some of the committees that we may be forming during the Building Project.  Please take some time to look it over and sign up to help in whatever way you can.
